Villa on Angus Drive
Welcome to Modern Luxury
This project was one of the few exceptions to the norm, whereby the City of Vancouver allowed a home in the First Shaughnessy district to be fully designed without requiring for any form of restoration of the existing structure.
To maintain a large open concept garage and an indoor swimming pool, the entire basement, including the basement ceiling was constructed out of concrete (suspended slab construction).
Knowing the cost to heat and cool such a large home, along with the need to heat a massive swimming pool, we decided to utilize the completely secluded large backyard space by using geothermal for the heating and cooling requirements of the home
From the hand carved ceiling mouldings to the gold faux finish (to name a few of the complicated details), the interior finishing on this project will continue to awe those lucky enough to experience it first hand, for decades to come.
We were extremely fortunate to have worked on this project with such an amazing Owner and design team.
This home not only won a Georgie Award in the Vancouver market, but it also won international awards
